South N7 total station

Long-range EDM

Reflector-free range of up to 2000 meters, results in 0.3 seconds. The N7/N9 easily reaches targets in difficult conditions, e.g. on roofs and between wires, and enables prism accuracy of 2 mm+2 ppm (N7) and 1 mm+1 ppm (N9) up to 5.0 km. The brand new dual laser EDM is switched on and off by electronic laser circuitry. Improved noise reduction, optimized signal processing (SNR increased 4 times). Less light refraction and crosstalk with optimized optical structure. Better alignment with mechanical improvement of coaxial optics.

Smaller laser spot

At distances of 5m, 35m and 50m, the N7/N9 laser spot has been reduced to 3mm, 12mm and 16mm, respectively. The smaller laser dot provides precise alignment to the target.

Easy-to-use user interface

The N7 series total station is equipped with a fully open Windows CE 6.0 operating system and is equipped with applications such as South EGStar and MGStar and unique features:

COGO etc.

The N7 offers the possibility to use versatile software such as the Canadian Microsurvey Field Genius or Carlson SurvCE. The large graphic display enhances the use of menus and ensures smooth working. The N7/N9 offers a complete field-to-office solution for users and includes important features such as
COGO routines, road program, coding, resection, marking, reference line etc. The Windows CE 6.0 operating system also allows the user to use local software.

Unique functions and advanced applications

Especially in construction sites, it is often necessary to mark a point by displacement (so-called B-boards). Tape dim is a program that integrates total station and tape measure measurements when speed is needed. String Setout means specifying points with a string (point code), which allows points to be placed on a line created in design software.
