The FJD Trion V4E Mini RTK receiver breaks the boundaries of traditional GNSS receivers with a convenient and portable form factor and good measurement accuracy. Weighing only 320 g, the V4E Pro offers centimeter-level positioning without a measuring rod, making it perfect for surveyors and professionals on the go. Easy to use and affordable, it can immediately provide anyone with the opportunity to measure accurately. The prices include the versatile Android surveying program Trion Survey, which works on modern Android devices. FJD's own controllers, such as the E600 and UA80, have the advantage of being resistant to water, dust and frost. There are two versions of the device, Standard and Pro. The difference between these is that the Pro model has tilt compensation (IMU) and a laser rangefinder, which allows you to measure with a laser without a measuring rod. V4E can be used to generate point clouds from an object using the iPhone Pro, either with the iPhone's own LIDAR or with a separate, powerful LIDAR.
Provides centimeter-level accuracy with a static accuracy of ±1.5 cm. We have measured the real-world accuracy on our own test track and the V4E's accuracy matches that of the larger V10i and V10a devices. It supports 1408 channels and covers all GNSS constellations, including GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and SBAS. Weighing only 320 g, the V4E offers broad compatibility with popular correction services and supports NTRIP connection with RTCM 2.3, RTCM 3.x and CMR. The V4E standard price of 999 euros (VAT 0, incl. Trion Survey software) opens a new price range for RTK GNSS devices, without compromising on features. By using the Android mock location feature, you can also use the precise location in other programs, such as Karttaselain or Infrakit.
Compensates for tilt angles of up to 30° (Pro version) with the built-in IMU, so you don't have to keep it perfectly straight. This gives you ≤3 cm accuracy at 3 meters without having to place a measuring stick vertically, and even without a measuring stick, using just the laser. Its built-in LiDAR rangefinder achieves ±3 mm accuracy at 10 meters for precise point targeting.
There are two options for V4E models to make V4E work as an RTK device with Lidars, either with iPhone Pro models or with a separate LIDAR. The SCAN package uses the internal LIDAR of the iPhone Pro models (up to 5 meters) and the LIDAR package includes a handheld LIDAR that measures 154600 points per second up to 50 meters in a 70 x 360 degree scanning angle range. The iPhone model should be an iPhone 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max or newer models.
Stay powered up for the entire workday. It can run for over 12 hours and takes less than 3 hours to charge. You can even keep the V4E working while charging it with a power bank, so your work is never interrupted. With IP67-rated protection against water and dust, and resistance to drops from 1.2 meters, it's built to withstand tough environments.
Seamlessly connect your field and office teams. With the included cloud service, which meets the EU’s stricter data protection regulations in autumn 2025, you can send data and project updates from the field in real time, speeding up work on both ends. No more waiting, just productivity. Share system parameters and configure data, including coordinate systems, geoid models and datum grid files. Via the cloud service, you can transfer data, such as survey results or vector maps, from the field to the office or from the office to the field. Both Trion Survey software and device firmware are free to use and have no expiration date after which they become chargeable.
Access the FJD ecosystem quickly for a smooth workflow from field to machine. The GNSS data you collect with the V4E in the field can be directly used by FJD's farming autosteering systems, robotic mowers, and other smart devices for automated tasks. You don't have to convert the data, allowing you to work faster and reduce mistakes.
