A new generation GNSS RTK system - now also with world wide TAP correction system
The LUKA GNSS Receiver supports calibration-free tilt compensation function which is immune to magnetic disturbances, leveling pole is not required. With an internal high-performance multi-constellation and multi-frequency GNSS board, the LUKA GNSS Receiver can provide high accuracy and stable signal detection. The high-performance antenna can speed up the time to first fix (TTFF) and improve anti-jamming performance.
There are four versions of the LUKA GNSS Receiver, which can provide selectivity for the requirement from different users. Main features:
The LUKA receiver can be used for measurements with Tersus' own Android-based smartphone or tablet (TC20 / TC50 / TC80 / TC40) or any modern Android phone. The program can be either Tersus' own Nuwa program (free) or another Android-based program, such as Aplitop TcpGPS. The Tersus TC20 controller is a rugged smartphone with a 4.3-inch touchscreen and alphanumeric keyboard. The TC50 has a 5-inch touchscreen, a more powerful processor and more memory. The TC80 has 6/64Gb of memory and a 5.5" display. The TC40 is an 8-inch tablet with 4/64Gb of memory. All devices are fully compatible with Tersus NUWA software. Thanks to the professional IP68 rating, they are durable and reliable in harsh operating conditions. The NUWA software features Finnish coordinate and elevation systems.
Customers can also easily set up their own base station from the Tersus Caster Server (TCS), which allows the GNSS base station to be quickly configured to send correction data via the mobile network instead of the radio. Supported by FieldGenius and Nuwa, Oscar can be configured for different work environments to suit different daily tasks. Backed by the fast technical support of Tersus’ global partner network, the Oscar GNSS receiver is a capable and reliable partner.
TAP System
Now (April 2025), LUKA is also available as a model that works in both the RTK network and the global TAP network. The accuracy in this network is 15 mm horizontally and 30 mm vertically. The first measurement, or convergence, takes a little longer than in the RTK network, i.e. a few minutes, but after that the measurement is as fast as in the RTK network. The TAP network is not only more extensive, but also more affordable than RTK networks.
Tersus is v. Founded in 2014, the company has offices in the US, China and Australia. It is one of only six GNSS receiver manufacturers in the world that design their own satellite receiver circuits.
