SI255 is an FBG interrogator developed to both static and dynamic measurements and it can read all types of strain, temperature, displacement, acceleration, and pressure sensors manufactured by Micron Optics, Inc. SI255 is capable of measuring absolute wavelength changes, and due to its on-board NIST certified calibration unit the instrument need no other calibration. SI255 provides even 16 measurement channels which allows for simultaneous measurement of about 1000 sensors and its sampling frequency is 5000 Hz in maximum. SI255 is delivered with ENLIGHT-software which is an essential part of the measurement system.
